Book Bags

Hello lovelies!

It's been a bit since the last post. We've been quite busy due to many summer activities.... Well I hope the summer has been a blast for you guys. Summer in California has been super weird. It felt more like fall than summer and then all of a sudden we had a random burst of blazing heat for two days. >.< Anyways…. Since school has starting up I thought I might write a little something about book bags. I’ll mention some of the goodies as well as the nasties about the 3 most popular kinds or book bags. Shall we see?

Gyaru Hair Trend; Two tone & Gradation Gyaru Hair

If i had my way, this whole blog would be all Gyaru related haha. Two toned hair as been around for a while now. Below picture of Ayamo from Zipper would be a typical two toned style back in the days, but a horizontal two tone gyaru hair has been on a rise lately.

I love Ayamo! She has kind of a slouchy yet cute look to her and she is just so different from other Gyarus. It is just refreshing to look at her style.

Skin Food Rice Mask Wash Off Review

I've read a lot of reviews online about this particular mask by Skin Food before and they had all proclaimed it as one of the worst by Skin Food.

True, This may not be one of the best mask from Skin Food, but it certainly isn't the worst either.
Silly rabbit, tricks are for kids.

Here's the description;
Food Therapy Special food for the skin to eat. Contains lots of nutritive and energetic ingredients such as fresh plants, fruits and etc. to maintain our bodies healthy and lively.
 I love all of Skin Food's packaging! They are all so cute. I've also forgotten to flip the picture ><
Bottom of the bottle;
Rice not only gives plenty of moisture but also brightens your skin. This gentle rice mask, feeling as real rice lifts off any excess dirt and oil leaving skin smooth and clear.
 The texture of the mask feels like some sort of gel or lotion. It has some sort of exfoliating beads in it but im not sure if it is actually real rice like they had described. It doesn't smell too bad at first, but after a while, you'll hate it to death! ><

Texture on my skin under ugly bathroom lighting lol. As you can see, it is a really thin layer, nothing too much to help anything. I did find that my skin feels smoother and a tiny bit clearer after the mask though <3

Have you tried Rice Mask Wash Off and would you recommend this to other people?

EOS New Adult Blue & Candy Pink Circle Lens review

I've recently bought two adorable American Eskimo puppies and they had been keeping me so so busy! Just like two babies! They are so adorable but really playful most of the times. I really hate it when they roughhouse and i just can't keep up with them!
I really want to post pictures of my puppies up, but its not that relevant to this blog.

So, I've recieved three pairs of lens from MukuChu like almost 2 weeks ago and I apologize for this super late review of them. I have another pair of green lens from GEO that i'll have to review.

So lets get going shall we?

EOS Dolly Lens & EOS King Brown Reviews

Im back for more reviews ;)

I've been super busy for the past week doing commissions for my nails thus did not have time to post up this review. Got these lens from Mukuchu! Shipping was as usual, really really fast and they are super friendly! I love doing business with them (:

EOS Dolly Violet Lens Review

 Comparison in bathroom lighting
Indoor lighting
Indoor lighting (by the window)

Enlargement 7/10
There isn't that big of an enlargement for me. They seem a little big smaller than 14.2mm.
Color/Design: 9/10

I love the color! Its the most vibrant pairs of lens I own at the moment. It is really good for people who likes unnatural lens or lens just for cosplay but still do have some enlarging effects. I totally reccomend it for people who have dark iris because it really do pop. I'm kind of iffy about the design though.
Comfort: 7/10
I swear i can see purple whenever i move my eyes around for about 10 minutes after wearing them. Kind of weird since non of my other lens have the same problem

Overall: 7/10
Kinda iffy about the comfort and the design, but I LOVE the vibrant colors. Not recommended for people who likes lens that are more natural.

EOS King Brown Lens Review

Enlargement 9/10
Nice enlargement!

Color/Design: 9/10

The color is pretty natural, you can't really see it much from far. I really like the design for this though. Plus the big black ring around it! It gives off a dolly anime eyes when it is worn. It has a glassy look to it as well :3

Comfort: 9/10
Very comfortable when wearing it. You can only feel the lens when you first put in.

Overall: 9/10
I love this lens! I will totally recommend this to anyone who are looking for a nice brown with a pretty good enlargement. I really like the glassy look when worn too~

Get them at MUKUCHU <3

//edit// All Lenses at the moment are $22 USD/$27 AUD and its buy 3 get one free!! Go get it while it's on sale

Circle Lens Reviews

My lens finally arrived this past week and im excited to get all the reviews up (:

I got this two lens from Mukuchu. They were super friendly and the shipping is super fast. Its pretty cheap as well.

EOS Super Nudy Grey Review

Comparison in natural light

  Bathroom Lighting
 Indoor lighting (by the window)
Indoor Lighting

Enlargement 9/10
The enlargement was nice, but for some reason,they didn't look as big as my EOS Pure Ring Grey (which is 14.2).
Color/Design: 8/10
Its pretty speckly~ I have not much problems with specklys though. when it is in the bottle, its a nice light grey. I totally did not expect it to have a blue-ish/gray-ish hue to it from a distance.

 Its a pretty color to be having though.
Comfort: 9/10
They are pretty comfortable actually~ When I first wore these lens, it kinda felt funny for a while(on my left eye), but i have no problems with it after that. It might just be that I did not soak them with contacts solution before putting them on though.

Overall: 9/10
I did not expect a blue-ish/greyish hue on a Super Nudy Gray lens. It is a nice surprise though, considering I never had such a unique gray lens before.

EOS Pure Ring Gray Review
Comparison in natural light
 Bathroom Lighting
  Indoor lighting (by the window)
 Indoor Lighting
Enlargement 10/10
The enlargement looked more like a 14.5mm instead of a 14.2mm. Really good enlargement
Color/Design: 10/10
I love love this design. Its a pretty natural gray and it blended really well with the black ring. It also kinda reminded me of g&g's burn pink lens which i have sitting around at home.
Comfort: 9/10
I had the same problem with my left eye when putting these on. It might also just be the fact that my eyes aren't really the same size with the base curve.(I still wear lens despite the problem.) Other than that, you can't really feel them after the initial wear.
Overall: 9.5/10
These lens have to be one of my favorite pairs that I do own right now. It has a really nice gray inside the ring and its not over-ly unnatural.

Get them at MukuChu (:

Sinful Colors Professional Rise and Shine Swatch/Review

HI! Gloria is here with a review! :D

Sooo… I got a nail polish from Sinful Colors Professional from Walgreens because it was $2. I heard lots of great stuff about this product so I bought it but when I used it, I was honestly disappointed. I got the color Rise and Shine. The color really changes with the lighting my pictures underneath will show you what I mean. So for this nail polish you absolutely need a base coat. This nail polish stains your nails! I tried it on the first time without a base and I needed around FIVE coats because it was see through. And when I took it off my nails had this weird light green color left on it for around 2-3 days. :( When I applied the color I thought it was a bit too dull for my taste. That’s why you also need a top coat.

I also had a friend use it and she did a base coat, 2 coats of the Rise and Shine, and then a top coat but it chipped after a day. :(

I was really disappointed. Maybe it was just the color I picked? I’m not sure.

Color wise I would rate it a 5/10

Quality wise I give it a 3/10

Overall 4/10

So this product is a really big EH for me.... What do you think?

Nail Updates

Hime Gyaru style this time (:
This is actually one of the few sets that i've done for myself. I am pretty proud of myself due to the fact that I've completed this in one sitting. It took me about an approx. 2 hours. I don't have 1.5mm or 2mm clear Swarovski crystals which means i had to resort to my plastic acrylics ones. You can totally tell the difference in quality. I wore these to school yesterday and quite a number of people asked if it was heavy.

I am thinking of selling some of my nail art works online, but what do you guys think about it?

Simple Gyaru's Makeup tutorial

Hello Lovelies (:

I've been working on this makeup tutorial for a while now, and now its finally done. Originally, I've wanted to make a video tutorial and upload to Youtube. I've actually tried recording it with my camera, but it was a total failure. I think for now, im just gonna make these as picture tutorials. Gloria edited those pictures into video. It's pretty much the same thing as the pictures but in a video format. It had took me quite a while to edit all those pictures. Please bare with me?

This is a really simple makeup for the Gals out there~~ It really only takes about 5 to 10 minutes to do which is perfect for those who are in a rush to get out of the house, school..etc.

Oh here's the link to the video:

Aussie ;; 3 Minute Miracle [deeeeeeep conditioner]

Felicia! ;)

I just got this super super awesome product a few days ago and i just HAD to get online and share this products with everyone (:

I really got to say though. This is one of the best deep conditioners out there. And believe me when i say that, considering i've been in search for a deep conditioner that really works. This product was a mere $3 in Wal-greens!!! I was trying to decide between 3 minute miracle or Neutrogena's Triple moisture deep conditioner, but im glad i've made the choice of Aussie's conditioner.

I have really damaging long hair due to the fact that i use heat products rather often. Hair extensions pretty much screwed my hair over as well. My hair is in a really pathetic state for a hair dyeing virgin. I was rather skeptical about this conditioner at first, but it really did made my hair super super soft and less tangled. It had immediate result. You can pretty much feel the difference in the first wash. Its the first time since in ages that my hair had felt the way it did after washing the first wash. I loved the packaging as well. All you really have to do is to squeeze the bottle and the conditioner just comes right out at the bottom. From what i can tell from the bottle, you can use the conditioner to the last bits.

The only thing that i can think of that might make a person hesitate on buying the product would probably the smell of it. The conditioner has a "pina colada" smell to it. Kinda coconut-ty but i loved it (:.

A word of warning though, its best to concentrate the conditioner on the tips instead of roots. You might just get oily hair the next day instead.

-------------------------------------------------------

Pros:
* super super super cheap. ($3)
* works very well, result can be seen after the first wash.
*Super clever packaging. You can get you money's worth

Cons:
* The "pina colada" smell might throw someone off.

Updates!

Felicia ;)

Sorry for the late update, but i've been rather busy preparing for ACT this past week, thus there wasnt much post from me. Im back though (;

Originally i was gonna do a gyaru eye makeup tutorial, but i didnt know where to start >_>..
I'll probaly have it up either as picture form on here or as video form sometime soon (:

By the way, heres the swatch for Dark Angel from the post below. This was taken with flash, but as you can see, the color is a tad bit light even after layering it.

CLINIQUE 3 Step Skin Care

Gloria! :)
I use my products for a while before I have my say on them so if I recommend them I really mean it.

Cleanser:

I used the Liquid facial soap mild.
I liked it! It didn’t dry out my skin and my face felt clean and fresh after using it.

Toner:

I got the mild clarifying lotion
This was a pretty nice toner. The thing I like about it was that there was no alcohol in it so it didn’t sting my face when I used it. And since there was no alcohol or fragrances it didn’t dry out my skin either. Since there is no alcohol in this toner you have to shake it before you use it. It also has salicylic acid and glycol (it’s in the ingredients section check for it). The salicylic acid will help get rid of the acne while the glycol will help moisturize the skin.

Moisturizer:

I got the dramatically different moisturizing gel.
Even though it was a gel it felt extremely light on my face so it was nice and it also felt very natural. It’s oil free so you not have a shiny face. Sometimes I put it on twice because it doesn’t moisturize my face enough. The bad part about his product is that it does not have sunscreen so you need to put sunscreen on top of this when you go outside. For me this product was too light during the winter time so you might need a different product.

Astringent

Gloria:)

So I've been using this astringent for some time and I though it was pretty good so I'm going to write a review for it.

Clean & Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent:

I have sensitive skin so this stung and first but it works. This product has salicylic acid which is a very popular acne medicine. It dries out your skins a bit so make sure you use moisturizer after you use this product. I use this product on my problem areas on my face and it takes care of the job in a jiffy. The astringent doesn't really smell good and I suggest not to smell it because it will sting. When you apply this product near your nose breath through our mouth or hold your breath.

If I were to rate this product I would give it a 8 out of 10 because it dries and stings your skin.

Rimmel + Soap & Glory.

Felicia!

I've always wanted to get Soap & Glory stuff (SO freaken cute!) , but they aren't that cheap, and I don't have a job at the moment either so it doesn't help... But my chance came a few days ago! Even though I don't really need wrinkle creame, they were on clearance for $3!! I am determined to try this on my mother.

I saw this eyeshadow palette called Dark angel while walking up and down the aisles of Target. The color is beautiful, but i cant seem to get them to pop as much as i've wanted to. I will post the swatches later. Had to get them to try them out ;)

I know im so not pretty -_- don't criticize me. (my pics suck atm, Iphone pic & a sucky camera pic)

Face on, It was my dress down day with unstyled hair. the eyeshadow was alrightt. Next, i wanna try some brighter matte shadow (:

This Season's Must Haves;; Spring Edition.

Blogged by Felicia
Its that time of the year again to take out those flowery patterned dress! After a cold, snowy winter, its time again to bring out your inner girl that you have kept inside.

These are (in my opinion) some of this year's Spring season's Must Haves.
Floral Printed Dress
Who doesn't want a nice flowy sping dress? A Floral printed dress is one of the must haves for this spring. Not only its young and youthful, it brings out the inner girl in you!
* Anthropologie; Wind Catcher Dress[$168]
Valance Tank
I love love love Anthropologie for their unique design pieces. Especially those pieces that has a sort of nature incorporated themes. I have been an avid fan of romanticist style lately. This tank top is decorated with laces and dot trims, thus leaving it a romantic , girly feel to it. This tank is one of those tank tops that you have to wear out on a date. It has a romantic feel to it don't you think?
* Anthropologie;Valance Tank[$68]
Satin Rosy Skirt
Flowery printed skirts in my opinion are one of those article of clothing that i would never wear out after spring. Pair this pencil skirt with a plain top and you are good to go!
* Forever 21;Satin Rosy Skirt[$15.80]

Earth toned Gladiator Sandals
Gladiators Sandals have been in trend alot more lately. It gives off a boho, down to earth chic look in my opinion. Pair these sandals off with a floral dress!!

Sinful Colors;; See You Soon Swatch/Review

blogged by Felicia.

I've actually seen Sinful Colors in Walgreens quite a few times now. But this little brand of nail polish was actually placed in the corner of the store with the price tag of $1.99. I was really hesitant about buying this brand before, because not many people know of it.

After using it though, I was surprised. This bottle of nail polish which i have gotten it at $1.99 was a STEAL. In my opinion, this random unknown brand is up par with China Glaze and maybe even O.P.I, which you can easily get it at around $7-$14.

Natural light;;

See You Soon is a beautiful color. Its deep shade of sea blue had caught my eyes, which was a love at first sight for me. Under the natural lighting, its a deep teal, with a hit of shimmer. With indoor lighting though, it is more of a darkish, black blue. It has a pretty good staying power as well.

I've actually used this stunning color on one of my nail art project.(which i will post up soon if i get them done)I have actually never liked any shade of blue/green till See You Soon came along. I would highly recommend this color to anyone who likes a nice shade of blue.

Etude House;; Color Me Nude Concealer Review.

Etude House Color Me Nude~
Blogged by Felicia ;]

Recently, I've gotten quite a few products from Etude House. I got to say, their products are so cute *_*.. There is only one shade of Color Me Nude and its perfect for any skin tone! The packaging was really really girly, which was the final push for me to get them.

I have been eyeing on Color Me Nude from Etude House for the longest time. It has been my dream to have super pretty nude lips (totally inspired by those japanese magazines i've been reading). Unfortunately though, I was born with a more reddish tone lips, thus products like these are just perfect for me!

Tried them on my lips this morning before school (:

*excuse my ugly lips D:*

Lips after chapstick ~(a little darker in RL tho)

Color Me Nude Concealer~

Plus Lipgloss~

Honestly speaking though, I was rather disappointed with this product. It felt really thick plus the concealer was super drying. It reminded me of a period of my life when i would use my concealer stick to achieve a lighter lip color. In my opinion, this product isn't really necessary. I think Etude House had just taken a stick concealer and repackage it. If you are going to buy this product though, I would recommend slapping on a really thick coat of chap stick before putting on Color Me Nude.

On a brighter side, this product is pretty convenient and easy to use (you just have to apply it on like a lipstick instead of dabbing it on).

Pros:
* Convenient & Easy to Use.
* Pretty Packaging
* Suitable for any skintone.

Cons:
* Very drying and thick
* could be achieved with stick concealer as well.
